Kids Birthday Parties in Coquitlam!

Some of the Coolest Kids Birthday Parties in Coquitlam!

Over the past year we did some fabulous kids birthday parties in Coquitlam.  Our company is based in Port Coquitlam so it’s just a hop, skip and jump away.  In case you haven’t heard Young Wizards Academy has an array of fabulous birthday themed parties.  We've been in business for over a year now and have incredible reviews. We now have 9 themes to choose from, everything from wizards to medieval knight, even some movie action hero’s and one cool Potions Party .  All the kids at the party get to wear their very own cape, cloak or tunic.  The kids also receive at the birthday a wand, saber or sword that they get to take home with them.  These are fabulous parties are for girls and boy from ages 4 to 10 years old.

Some fabulous places to have a kids birthday party is Blue Mountain Park.  As it has been hot out it’s always nice to find a picnic table in the shade and Blue Mountain Park has a lot of mature tree especially on the east side of the park.  There is several places on the east side that have picnic tables as well as a small hidden pond which is awesome to come across.  Lots of shade is everywhere and lots of space for the kids to run around the forest.    Bring in an action hero of themed entertainer is quite easy of a setting for them. As there is lots of places to hide and explore amongst this beautiful setting .  I think blue mountain park is one of the best places to host a birthday party. There is also a covered area with table under it as well.  You may need to book it through the city for your event.

Please feel free to check out our selection of themed birthday events and parties and meet our entertainers that work hard to make you party a huge hit. Check us out here Kids Birthday Party

Young Wizards Academy has been hard at work with building some fresh new kids birthday party Vancouver. With the recent win of the Vancity Buzz contest from small business online lender OnDeck Capital it’s given us an opportunity to expand and put together a bunch of new parties for girls of all ages.   The facilitator of these new and exciting parties will be Professor Trelawney of Young Wizards Academy

Prepare to take the Potions Party to the next level with Professor Trelawney as she leads the young girls with learning actual potions that they get to make, take home & use.  Imagine learning to make your own products with simple natural Ingredients.  Facial masks, scrubs, skin lotion, lip balm, face cleansers, sunscreen and even bath bombs is just the beginning to what they get to make. This party is called “Cauldron Creations” for tweens, teens and even corporate events.

The second party is similar to the first party but is called “Cauldron Creations and Cocktails”.  That’s right Young Wizards Academy now has their first adult party!  Time to send the kids for the night to the grandparents and treat yourself ….You bring the wine or cocktails and we bring the healing creations.  Professor Trelawney will have several packages for adults to choose from.  The ladies get together and enjoy a night of laughter, wine or cocktails and much needed adult fun.  This fabulous group activity event involves the making of all natural products for women and the entertainment of sitting under the sorting hat. Birthday party ideas and tips on entertainers.

Tips for when hiring an entertainer and birthday party ideas.

Here’s a few tips when hiring an entertainer that you may not normally think of.

Most entertainers have very elaborate costumes that can sometimes have several layers to it especially if they are themed characters. A good entertainer works hard to have authentic costume to be convincing.  So be mindful about your venue and environment of the birthday and where he will be performing.  If you have him in the direct sun for the full hour at 1pm it may be strenuous of the entertainer but thus difficult to create something special also hot for the kids.  A good entertainer should discuss such details with you over the phone when planning the party together.

If you have creative birthday party ideas and have an action hero coming to the party make sure the kids arrive 15 min to 30 min before their arrival.  Kids are notorious to arriving a little late to birthday parties thus they may possibly miss out on the beginning of the show.  Sometimes as well the entertainer wants to make the best entrance as well like flying in and performing action hero moves to the theme music.

Sometimes having too much at the party to entertain the kids can be a problem: It’s always important to make the entertainer the main sense of attention as you are paying good money for him or her.  If you have a bouncy castle up and all the kids are in their bathing suit with a pool nearby it may be difficult for the kids to get their attention focused of becoming a superhero.  Good entertainer can manage it but it’s their main goal to make it a fabulous party so it’s best to give them a good shot to give their best performance.

I hope this give you a few pointers that can make your birthday party ideas an event that will be remember forever.

Entertainers and Birthday Parties

Having a young child is tough and birthday parties for them can be daunting, chances are you have already been invited to several or so birthday parties this year. If you have more than one school aged child well you can, double or triple it. At some point, you may be attending a kid’s birthday party every weekend and hosting several yourself.  Sounds crazy but we love our kids and birthday parties are memorable.    Check out my memorable birthday parties for Vancouver here:

If the thought of a dozen hyper kids running through the house demanding entertainment and treats – plus their parents looking really bored or drinking and eating the food you happily supplied, it’s exhausting and overwhelming to think about. Welcome to the club of families outsourcing their birthday party entirely.

Home parties can give you a chance to sit and relax and really enjoy the parties as well as getting your kids involved in the action by making the decorations for the party. Especially if they enjoy arts and crafts time or creating and exploring their favorite subject (example space ships and superheroes)

Outsourced parties are also now available at the Vancouver zoo, recreation centers, indoor parks and playgrounds, community museums, ice skating(maybe for the older ones), cinemas movie theaters , several shops, bakeries and cooking schools. Parents can book and pay online, then turn up on the day and shift over the entertainment to a professional birthday pro.

The real real purpose of parties these days are to grow and build friendships, strengthen self-esteem, create a strong sense of belonging and develop important social skills. Also to create and experience that can be memorable for years and possibly decades to look back and enjoy.

Now most importantly it is up to the guardian or parents to decide what kind of party would be best for their child and how big to go and how much effort to put into it. With so much outsourcing these days there really is allot to choose from and some really cool and unique themes today!

Thanks for the visit!   Young Wizards Academy
