Vancouver Birthday company has amazing parties!

Hosting a birthday party? and not sure what to do.  Well one of the most important aspects to entertaining the little ones will be the games and entertainment!
Yes, the treats and cake are always a big hit but if you have nothing for the kids to do it can quickly become an out of control especially if lots of sugar is involved sugar. Kids if left up to their own devices can either create chaos or a big whine-fest of I’m bored. birthday parties are suppose to be special so at Young Wizards Academy we specialize in making events and birthday super amazing.

We offer 10 different themed parties that you can chose from. We are just not Character but entertainers as well.  All shows have super fun filled content games and props. Yes we bring the props like swords sabers and wands to the party, Which the kids get to keep.

The following is a set of games that we use at some of our parties that are fun for every age of kid and will surely engage their attention span for a period of time.

Adventure Obstacle Course - Kids always love to be physical so have them perform a set of tasks in an obstacle course. Most of our parties involved them going through a adventure obstacle course to earn something.

Some examples are.. Bring a small plank acting as a balance beam to walk across, taped squares on the floor which they to hope from one to the next and a broom handle they have to spin around on the spot. Another idea is to set up sting in every direction to create a type of spider web and they have to crawl through, this may need a place with good anchor points.

Swords Sabers and Wands  – These are incredible versatile in use with lots of games. Each child gets a one. these are made out of foam of course and safe for all children . Great for target practice with bubbles!

Coqutlam Birthday Company - Amazing Party Themes

Birthday Parties in Coquitlam is Young Wizards Academy’s thing!   We come to where you are whether it’s your home, rec center room or complex activity room, maybe even a saber battle in the park for this summer.  We travel from Mission to Richmond to an occasional party in Whistler for time to time.  Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam Port Moody is our home base Link here:  Kids Birthday Parties Coquitlam

Awesome Ideas and tips. I quite often get asked what makes a fabuouls  party.   Well here are a couple of important tips I’ve put together to make sure that special day is amazing because it should be. Please check us out here to see all our parties, themes and prices.

1.       Space needed:  Weather it be your living room to a Coquitlam or Port Coquitlam Rec Center room or park, it’s always best if you have the birthday party entertainer arrive in an open space.  Quite often I arrive and mom or dad has taken out the coffee table from the room and pushed the couches back to the far wall. This is usually enough space to host 10 to 12 kids comfortably. Kids are amazing how they adjust to the space.   Downstairs Rec rooms are nice as long as you put away the toys and video games and its distracting for the kids and the performer has to work harder to create that amazing magic.  Rec centers are great as their rooms are bigger just be sure to keep chairs and tables off to the side and leave an open space for the kids to sit or move around. I recommend Hyde Creek in Port Coquitlam perfect size room at a great price

2.       Timing:  It’s always best to have the little guests arrive before the entertainer as most entertainers have a grand entrance to the party. At least I do. You are paying allot of money so you don’t want the entertainer standing around waiting for kids to arrive.  Be on the look out as the entertainer is usually waiting in the wings ready for your que.  It’s usually best to have the entertainment first then go into yummy food and cake.  That seems to be the usually timeline that parent follow I find.  On a few occasions if it’s a late party like 5pm start time kids might need to be fed first as their attention is limited around that time without food. Kids get hungry around that time.

3.       Entertainment :  Look for an entertainer that has good communication on with you responds back to your requests and answers all your question in regards to the show. Don’t be afraid to just call them up and start firing questions. I live in Port Coquitlam and admin work is a big portion of my day to day activities.  Also, that way you can get a good idea of their personality and passion level for what they do.

I hope this gives you a bit a start into creating a wonderful birthday experience.  Live outside of Coquitlam and looking for a kids birthday party no problem give check out the link above for all our operating areas
